[Vent the North]

This post is to give you some idea of what the different jobs entail, which jobs you can currently apply for and how you can apply.

At the moment you can apply for the following positions:

      Image Translator
      Image Cleaner
      Image Typesetter
      Image Editor

Job Descriptions:

Translator:

We mostly need Japanese to English translators. In order to apply for this job, you have to be proficient in both Japanese and English.

Cleaners:

Cleaners are in charge of rotating, cropping, resizing, and getting rid of all the Japanese text. Experience isn't required, but you have to know how to use Photoshop.

Typesetters:

Typesetters are in charge of typing the English text on the cleaned scans.

Editors:

This is someone who is both a cleaner and a typesetter.


How to apply:

Your application should include the following things:

- Put the name of the job you are applying for and your own name in the subject.
- Show us some of your previous work that has do do with the position that you want. If your translator, show us some of your past translations. If your an editor, show us some of the manga you have cleaned and typesetted. If you want to be a cleaner, show us some of the manga scans that you have cleaned, and if your a typesetter, show us some of your typesetting skills.
