I scanned Get Backers v1 and v2 in 600dpi. http://kickthekitty.wordpress.com/2010/04/02/arc1angel2-getbackers-v20-v21-v22-v23-v24/I also batch edited v1. versions:v.1 No filters. But print quality was rather low so I made... v.2 Grays are edited a bit. But it still looked like shit so... v.3 Denoised (topaz) the **** of it. But that's not so bad since it's 2000px. Scans of v2 are now uploaded too. |

It's just a batch... With auto-crop. v.1 I did normally. Same way as Sakura Taisen. ( http://kickthekitty.wordpress.com/my-photoshop-settings/ ) But TP's print quality was so bad it looked really dirty when viewed full size. In v.2 I tried to fix that by denoising grays (multi layer denoise) but that didn't quite have enough effect. Perhaps I used wrong settings. So in v.3 I just used really strong wide area topaz denoise to entire picture. Since pic is 2000px denoise doesn't effect it the same way as smaller pics, so blacks where mainly preserved. But now it had too little noise. While it looks fine in full size, in sreen size grays look really plain and lifeless. At that point I thought: "whatever". Anyway, if you actually want v2 to be batched as well, it's no problem. Just say which version you preferred. |

These versions are all very good! Automation sure is cool! As for which one I like better...I think I like the second version! This version was bit dirty, but I like better than other versions. The cleaning for third version was too much...that why it look so dull. Meanwhile, the first version is too dirty to even look...it only looks good when viewing it closer... |

Hey somehow_here. Are you going tell reveal your settings someday? The only reason I don't mention my setting.....is because I don't have one! Basically I just do batch clean ( http://www.mediafire.com/?yg5i3gjq2oy) and level it!  Nothing really complicated like yours! I don't use any of the other setting...Er, cause it too complicated!  |
