J-pop and J-rock..you name it. Japanese music is awesome. I got into it because of a bunch of anime has a catchy theme song. I ended up listening to a bunch of Japanese artists and groups. Flow and Orange Range are two of the common groups. They sang some from Code Geass and Naruto.  Flow's "Colors" is one of my favorite song. It has a nice rock sound and really catchy. I also would recommend Exile and Chemistry is you want a ballad and soft R & B sound. Asian Kung Fu Generation and One OK Rock is you want a more rock sound. J-music is just awesome.

Never listen to it outside of an anime. But you are right, it is pretty good.

Dude, if you like J-Rock, you absolutely MUST listen to UVERworld! One of the best out there! I may have some bias since I'm a fan but I'm quite sure they don't disappoint Cheesy

I grew attached to mihimaru GT a couple of years back. I believe the genre is called 'J-urban'? to me it sounds kinda like those hip-hop fusion stuff.

I only listen to Japanese (only is an exaggeration, but you get the idea.) If you like J-Rock, try out Acid Black Cherry.
