In the Artist area... is it permitted to post hentai & Yaoi I have in the pipeline of the GetBackers?

If yes, are there warnings or anything particular I should know.  Embarrassed

If not then no problem, I have a Ygallery account.

Regards

Jen

[...] I have in the pipeline of the GetBackers?

For some reason, I can't really make out what you're trying to say in this sentence. Must be the language barrier. And what has Ygallery to do with anything?

But, to answer your question, I think it depends on how graphic the works in question are. On-screen penetration and bare genitalia are definitely a no-no, but I guess anything lesser than heated kissing is fine. It also depends on how the motive of the picture is presented; there is a thing called artistic nudity, you know. The line, however, between "tasteful" and "tasteless" is hair-thin, not to mention differs widely from person to person just where this line is drawn, so I advice you to put up a disclaimer when you post a picture that you imagine people can deem "risque".

I'll also refer to a post I made not long ago:
(background story; another member is considering whether or not she should post an official picture of Himiko and Clayman dressed in nothing but ribbons)
Quote
I know exactly what picture you're speaking of. You can go ahead and post it. Yes, they might show a lot of skin, but I think the picture in question was drawn in a very tasteful way and without any sexual overtones whatsoever. There's a thing such as artful nudity, which I think describes that picture pretty well. ESPECIALLY when compared to the imagery of the actual manga. I mean, it blatantly crosses the line and becomes softcore porn at times. And those chapters are spread on this very forum, so we're all used to a little nakedness and/or are mature enough to handle it. That means your fairly innocent piece of art won't shock ANYBODY. AT ALL.
Besides, I have drawn dirtier pictures and posted in my own art thread, but nobody has given me a warning so far. I mean, if it DID bother somebody, wouldn't he/she have sent a message to a mod or admin to make them remove my pictures or at least tell me that it's against the rules? So, if my perverted fanarts can pass without anyone complaining about them, so can a tame official artwork by Ayamine Rando. Wink

But hey, don't listen to me... I'm from Sweden, and here we have quite a relaxed stance on nudity and sexual stuff, so what looks tame in my eyes probably look very risque on an international level. XD

Ah.  Thanks! Smiley

"In the pipeline" is just an old saying for: "On it's way" or "I'm working on it and it's coming soon".

I'm from Britain and I didn't really stop to think about littering my online dialogue with things like that.  Sorry.  I'll be more aware of it.  Grin

As to the art.  I've drawn nudes for... 9 + years so what's perfectly normal to me and I wouldn't think twice about might be to much for some.  I do draw some very hardcore art... but that's on my other account and there's no chance of any underagers or people unaware stumbling across it and having a heart-attack.  Wink

For here, I'm talking tastful and mostly implied.  So I guess that means I'll be able to do that here.

Thanks for the advice.
