I'm a fan of Linkin Park and System of a Down: Linkin Park's Meteora is AWESOME!!!!!

Sadly, SOAD splited up (at least that's what I heard) but they were great too.

Any fans of Gorilaz here?

State of Shock, severely underrated band, such amazing songs people can relate to, yet they're not as well known as they should be Sad
Cobra Starship is not bad too, but they're kinda horrible live..

I like a huge range of bands starting from Yellowcard all the way to Killswitch Engage

A couple others are Bullet for my Valentine, Rise Against, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Change of Pace, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, and the list goes on and on

ok so i've noticed a decline in good bands lately and i was wondering if anyone heard of any good ones ?

the only music people talk about is shit like dizzy rascle *sigh* ¬¬'

The only reason you think music is declining is because you are growing old and set in your ways... It's sad that this is starting when you're only 16.

As for why people only talking about Dizzee Rascal and what-not, this just means you are only around one kind of people (mentally and culturally).  You should try expanding group circle and look for people with an eclectic musical palette.

I'm more into the old stuff myself... as can be seen from my pandora accounts... which mostly have pink floyd, beatles, queen, and ben folds (not so old but you're 16) and with a combination of other artists ranging from 20's to 2010.

Look into Gogol Bordello

Arcade Fire (anyone see them at Coachella? Totally killed it!) and Ra Ra Riot!

And Mika is absolutely lovely! <3

The Limousines are pretty cool, I also like Kings of Convenience. They're two pretty different sounds, though.
