Been playing games for as long as I've been able to read.
Here's a list of what I played as a kid.
Crystalis Dragon Warrior 1,2 and 3 Final Fantasy 1 Star Tropics Zelda
Lufia 1 and 2 Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (4 and 6) Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Super Mario rpg Zelda: Link to the past Breath of Fire 1 and 2 Actraiser 1 and 2 Crono Trigger
...and I'd have to look through my games to remember the other ones I played back then.
Loved those SNES games, but I would also add Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore

Thanks to the awesome powers of emulation, I've been playing Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask which I loved when I was younger. Keyboard controls are not as easy to manuever with as a N64 controller was, though...
Sonic and some Misc. Disney game on our Sega system was what preoccupied a lot of my time as a kid, though.

I might not be as old as some of the people of the forums, but I come from the Nintendo 43 generation, so eat it. Nintendo 64 had everything. Golden Eye, super smash brothers, and of course mario kart.

"Classic" for me doesn't go further back than the N64, but my brother and I used to play Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers all the time (Toad and Kirby for me, every time). Oh, oh, and STAR WARS RACER! IT'S A NEW LAP RECORD!
...my dad used to play Blood on the PC. I never understood the appeal, but my five-year-old brother was delighted with it. Though I found a copy of Doom a few years back and had a great time (mostly because I found the constant dying hilarious. I sucked at Doom.) Ah, good times.

I have vivid memories of going to the local haircut place, where they had, for some reason, a Nintendo 64 with Super Mario 64 in it.
Also played Myst and Chip's Challenge quite frequently.

Super Mario. I used to play it for hours XD there were other small games too but Mario is the only one I can remember vividly.
