I mean, if this was favorite anime I'd say the entirety of Code Geass (seasons 1 and 2, but the manga of it I worked on was meh), but manga?!

Uhhhh... I'll hafta think really hard for this.... I mean, I friggin love all the manga I work on (and that adds favoritism points to them), so this is really hard for me....

Ugh...I'll cheat and make it such that I have fave based on genre.. Makes it easier... Won't mention the ones I work on either... These are my favorites that are coming outta the top of my head, so they might change if I remember something I liked more...

Manga that was primarily Romance: Suzuka. I became a huge Seo Kouji fan because of it... I almost Like Kimi no Iru Machi more, but Kimi no Iru Machi was the first manga to ever make me rage... and I mean RAGE... Like, "yelling at the monitor" rage...

Less Romance: Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows) I ain't gonna explain why I love it...

Comedy = Hayate no Gotoku. Also not gonna explain.

Action = Flame of Recca. The anime was awesome.. The manga was 10 times better... Sure, the art was crap for the first 15 or so chapters, but it becomes absolutely great later on.

but according to your criteria, and limiting the answers to manga i'd read/reread this month:

ooku - absorbing, amazing historical fantasy by an author i dearly love.

banana fish - it takes days to pick myself up after reading this

7 seeds - hands-down my favorite survival manga ever

black jack - because it is just that awesome

My personal favorite manga is Houshin Engi, which sadly seems to be the mangaka's only truly great work.

Dragonball, simply because its the first manga I ever read and also the first I bought the complete set of. I just love power-up mangas and SSJ still gets my heart pounding.

I haven´t read a lot, but my favorite right now is Sun-Ken Rock  , followed by One Piece and GTO
