It's not an announcement for a new GB anime, alas! Instead it's a "re-license of ADV release from 2004, scheduled for DVD later this year." That's still good news for those of us who might be looking to get a good copy of the anime on DVD. The following was announced today at Anime News Network: The North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Wednesday that it acquired the Getbackers television anime series. The anime will soon be available digitally through multiple outlets, with a home video release on bilingual DVD scheduled for later this year. I dont think their forums are active anymore... and they did not give the download links unless you sent them a priviate message... Is there any other way to get the last volume? Do any of you guys have it?
The last volume is currently being translated by our group. Two chapters are out so far; the third will probably be coming in another week or so. |

Hello and welcome! We're glad you found us, sounds like you'll fit right in with us. We are currently in the early chapters of translating Volume 39, so you've come at a good time.  Since you have reached your quota of 15 posts already, you should now have access to the Projects and Releases section of the forum -- if you don't see it yet, then try logging out and logging in again. That's the section where the latest chapters are posted for download or viewing, at a rate of one chapter every two weeks. Make yourself at home and have fun! |

This is awesome, thank you! I didn't know there was a book like this. Of course, I can't read it but that doesn't stop me from appreciating it! Some day, I hope to be able to read Japanese, then I'll whip this out and see what it has to say. Thanks for sharing, it's truly special!
