Am I the only one listening to Enka here?
2  Other / Problems on the board / Re: Problems I see, does anyone else see em? on: May 24, 2011, 03:41:41 pm
1. When I go to the section you mentioned, I can see your topic just fine (titled "Wow... So... Anyone taking requests?" right?).
2. I would have never noticed that had you not mentioned it. Probably not an important feature enough Tongue
3. I second that! A Quick Reply function would be pretty useful. Although maybe it's because the forum engine here doesn't support it. I never used SMF.
3  Other / Off topic / Re: Write the stupidest one word you can think of... on: May 20, 2011, 10:43:40 pm
mushnu Funny thing is that I know a friend who used to say that all the time.

It's a lame pun Emishi-style. Basically what it says: "toriniku wa torinikui. rebaa taberebaa" which basically means "chicken meat is hard to pick" and "if you eat the liver/lever (as in joystick lever). I'm not good at translating in English and choosing the right words in English, so I'll just leave them with the literal meaning.
8  The Honky Tonk Lounge / General Manga Discussion / Re: Post your Manga collection on: May 15, 2011, 08:11:35 pm
Got rid of my English and French manga to buy real manga (in Japanese), so right now I only have Ai Kara Hajimaru (Yukimaru Moe), Hiyokoi (Yukimaru Moe), Manga no Tsukurikata (Hirao Auri), and Magic Kaito (Aoyama Gosho).
9  The Honky Tonk Lounge / General Manga Discussion / Re: Your Favorite Mangaka? on: May 15, 2011, 08:09:11 pm
I'd go with Seo Kouji, Kamijou Akimine, Yabuki Kentaro, Tonogai Yoshiki, Kawashita Mizuki and Yukimaru Moe, for artwork and story.
10  The Honky Tonk Lounge / General Anime Discussion / Re: What was the latest anime you completed/watched? on: April 05, 2011, 04:53:56 pm
Just finished Infinite Stratos, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka, Star Driver, Dragon Crisis, Index S2 and Kimi ni Todoke S2. Pretty much all of the Winter series I was watching. I'm starting the Spring series now.

Finished reading Doubt, now reading Judge, both by Tonogai Yoshiki. Dark, psychological manga. The themes and settings in both of these manga are pretty similar.
12  The Honky Tonk Lounge / General Manga Discussion / Re: What Do You Look at First, When Picking out a New Series to Read? on: March 20, 2011, 04:07:17 pm
I don't usually look at summaries since most of the time they don't do the series justice. I usually look at the art, and if there's a oneshot (translated or not), I would read it. Speaking of oneshots, there are a lot of pretty promising stuff out there that never get serialized or translated.

I'm a male, but since there is a Kazuki option, I can't resist to choose it. Perhaps I really am a Kazuki  Tongue
