First genre, then plot and lastly artwork. I think the most important one is the plot though.

Super Mario. I used to play it for hours XD there were other small games too but Mario is the only one I can remember vividly.

D.Gray-man. I could finally finish it after a long time, I get distracted so easily XD It was one of the best anime I have ever watched. I give it a 10, can't find anything wrong.

I'm for a Get Backers remake too.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Initial D remake, Arago, Until Death Do Us Part adaptations.

Studio Ghibli works are absolutely fantastic. My all time favorite movie is Princess Mononoke, though I love all other movies too (maybe except ponyo >_>)

When I found out Pokemon was an anime and there were more episodes of it than the ones aired in my country, I got interested and discovered many more. Now I'm kind of an addict

Historical, Fantasy, Action and School Life are my favorites... but as long as it has a solid plot I don't really mind the genre.

One Piece is a must. And the only ones I remember from this period are Nodame Cantabile, it's pretty good and Durarara!!, I first started reading the manga then switched to the anime, they are both great.

Holy Talker... it's been 6 volumes already, I wish the scanlation weren't dropped though and he seems to have an even later work Oniwaka to Ushiwaka - Edge of the World which seems to be in hiatus?

Hercules was definitely the best. I love Greek mythology and although Hercules was not really very accurate, it was very fun to watch.
I loved watching Aladdin too

I was crazy about Pokemon, but that one is not a cartoon, so... I guess my favorite cartoon was Recess.

Sid is pretty good.

Last Inning. It's an ongoing manga and scanlations are at an early stage but it's worth reading. There are very few sports manga I truly enjoyed and this is one of them.
