For sheer comedy, Himiko's devolution scent.
While Jackal's Bloody Sword is cool, for sheer effect, there's nothing like Bloody Cross/Bloody Sagittarius, moves so brutal, even being immortal won't help you.
And pf course, Yukihiko's Material Full Moon, wherein Mr Mild brings a friggin' BLACK HOLE to a swordfight.

It probably works best if you've read the comics before hand, but if you don't go in with particularly high expectations, it's a highly enjoyable movie even without knowledge of canon.
... kind of irked that he didn't end up with Knives in the movie, but I hear there's an alternate ending somewhere covering that.

Grander Musashi.
Yes Japan, I know you can make anything into a manga/anime (I am still in awe that there is, in fact, a manga series about curling). That doesn't mean you should, or that simple-mindedly applying the standard shonen formula to fly fishing will produce anything other than an insane waste of time.
... the fact that there wound up being two seasons of 50+ episodes is just depressing.

... wth. Sure, the Kyoto arc was possibly the high point of the entire manga (Jinchuu, while having some great moments, didn't quite click as a whole), do we really need to improve on the already excellent anime (and Misao as the POV character is an improvement?).
.... waitasec. If they stay faithful to the original story... Misao wasn't even there for the final battles at Shishio's hideout. They're seriously going to skip all that?!

A couple of my personal favourites:
One Piece: CP9 arc, Zorrro vs Kaku. Arguably the most insane back-and-forth of techniques, and taking the concept of a giraffe-man-assasin and making it badass... and hilarious at the same time. "Pasta Machine!"
Alternatively, Thriller Bark arc, Straw Hats vs Oz+Moria. The entire crew (minus Luffy) versus a prehistoric zombie, using the fighting ability of Luffy and piloted by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Kenichi: Shigure vs the Lance of the West. Ninja on a motorbike vs a fully-armoured knight on a horse? How can I not vote for that?
Fairy Tail: Doroma Animu vs Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy. Magi-tech Draconic mobile armor versus three distinct Dragon Slayer mages.
Hajime Ippo: Ippo vs Date. Just... Ippo vs Date.
