They both are residents of the brain trust. Both are scarily powerful and havent seemed to have revealed their proper potentials yet.
Who do you think is stronger? :D

I am assuming that Akabane is stronger.  Kagami is too slimy and up to no good -- so he has to fail in the end, right?  That would be justice!   ;D  He is pretty tough, of course; probably one of the toughest guys out there.  But I get the impression that he's not the top dog even as strong as he is, so he's bound to have some weaknesses that Akabane can exploit.  And he's really too full of himself, and that kind of guy always loses in the end.

My guess is that they are equal in terms of strength

I'd say Akabane. We've seen him do some pretty crazy stuff- if memory serves, didn't he take some of Kagami's diamond dust and turn it into scalpels? Or was that just in the Anime? Anyways, I'm definitely rooting for the good doctor. C:

Of course Akabane. I love Kagami in anime though, but when I started reading Manga, Kagami bored me a bit :)

i don't know about the real fighting power of both of them, but akabane is much cooler.

Kagami seems to sweat a little at Ban's power so he may be closer to Ban while Akabane doesn't seem to waver.

I think that akabane its stronger than kagami, but for some reason i guess that kagami has a triumph card

I think that in the end the two will be equal to one another, seeing as they're parallels to each other.  White vs. Black

Kagami just has a weird vibe, I think akabane would win.

I say that Akabane is much stronger than Kagami, though they haven't seriously battled each other but I do think that at the end Akabane will win when they do.

I don't consider kagami insanely powerful cause he's always in hiding behind his illusions but who knows, right? Unlike akabane who's getting more and more powerful from his first appearance in the manga. He seems to be the character that is progressing the fastest of all the characters...Form before he can only summon weapons from his blood/body and then at the kiryuudo arc his regeneration becomes imbalance. Now in the lost time arc he can cut dimensions and have new techniques using his shadows.

Akabane would win because he cannot die. And all the previously mentioned points.

Kagami had difficulty dealing with himiko so I doubt he be able to stand up to Akabane

If Kagami stopped hiding behind his mirrors ALL the time, I don't think he would last long against Akabane  ;)

Tbh I think they stand pretty equal even after current events. [spoiler]I mean akabane stabbed him from behind when he had his guard down. Also Kagemi faught Ban under the impression he could not be touched, arrogance was his downfall more then lack of abilities imho.[/spoiler]

Kagami most likely is stronger. Ban had to go demon arm to start to get the edge on Kagami but he didnt win (although he was winning) while Ban remained at base defeat Akabane. And if one disregards plotkai, Kagami might have still owned Ban with his demon arm.
